OBSERVATION IN PUPPY BIRD
OBSERVATION IN PUPPY BIRD
While you won't interfere with the budgerigars' care, it's important to observe them. Observation is important so that you can contact the veterinarian as soon as the disease develops. After a few days of incubation, you should see the puppies start to gain weight. It may be necessary to check if the puppies are gaining weight or seem smaller next to other puppies. Puppies' beaks should be checked regularly. A piece of food stuck in the beak can cause feeding problems, which can lead to developmental problems. It may be necessary to gently remove the stuck food with a toothpick. In this case, parents can intervene and clean it as soon as possible, but it is necessary to observe to take precautions. Puppies should not open their legs in the first period. If you think your pup is starting to spread its legs, you can add a few towels or small pillows to the nest you prepared to make it more comfortable.
